Hotel Vista De Olas - Malpais

Registration was disorganized, with our villa not being available as booked. The infinity pool lacked cleanliness, and it closed early at 7:30 p.m., limiting our use. The parking lot felt dark and unmonitored at night, raising some concerns about safety.

Fantastic and spotlessly clean place, exceptional view of the ocean. Exceptionally comfortable bed and stunning and perfect location down by Playa Carmen where there are tons of excellent restaurants to try. Also - very close to a hill overlooking that whole coast line from playa Carmen down to mal Pais, waterfalls, and bars. Delicious breakfast, modern villa. A laptop-compatible safe, a sofa bed, and coffee/tea makers - very useful.

The infinity pool was a definite highlight. The staff's warm hospitality.

I came here for 1 night and had a perfect 10/10 stay. The breakfast selection was delicious with food from their own garden. The rooms were brand-new and beautifully decorated with large windows and a really nice view, for example, I greatly enjoyed that. The atmosphere created was quiet! Location: the hotel was near to the cliff overlooking the coast line and a hill overlooking that whole coast line from playa Carmen down to mal Pais.

Breakfast was a treat every morning, with fresh fruit and unique daily options. I loved the grilled local fish. It became our go-to dinner choice. One downside was access-it could be a bit tricky, especially during the rainy season, and the nearby town required an ATV. The resort is away from the main attractions, which suited us because it felt tranquil, but it also meant a bit of driving or walking. My only frustrations were minor maintenance issues in the villa, like some lights not working and the bathroom missing a mirror. Despite these small quirks, the overall experience was relaxing and enjoyable. If you're looking for a lovely spot with amazing views and a peaceful vibe, this is your place!

I can't say enough about how amazing the infinity pool was with its breathtaking views and how delicious the daily breakfast was, especially the fresh fruit. The hills leading up were quite steep, but the view made it all worthwhile! I would definitely return!
